Resignation after Prestonfield incident

Following a remark made at the Prestonfield House Politician of the Year awards last week, the spokesman for Wendy Alexander, the Labour leader, has resigned. Matthew Marr is not the first person to resign after an indiscretion at Prestonfield House.
