Commonwealth Pool refurbishment

Following the move to put the redevelopment of Meadowbank on hold, partly because of falling land prices, a report to the meeting of Edinburgh Council this Thursday (20th) confirms the prioritisation of the redevelopment of the Royal Commonwealth Pool. The report anticipates the allocation of £4.75m, which would have gone to the Meadowbank sports facility, to meet the funding gap in the Commonwealth Pool project.
