Moonwalk: from Meadows to Inverleith

In 2009 the Moonwalk - involving 12,000 walkers on the night of 20th June - will kick off from Inverleith.    It has been a welcome addition to the Meadows in recent years - though the huge tents and lengthy set up and decamp periods have not been without their critics.   More details here.  Enter here.

when was this decided? Any other events relocated? maybe the ladyboys or taste of scotland?

This is a decision (and publicity) by the Moonwalk organisation. The other organisations have not had a decision yet as far as I am aware. We are still waiting for the report on the use of parks in the city!
