Christmas Tree collections

Here is the information from the Council about disposing of your Christmas tree for recycling:

Residents are being asked to place their Christmas tree beside their on-street bins for collection on one of the following days: January South - 9, 16 or 23 January. Other options for Christmas tree recycling • Residents are also being advised that they can recycle Christmas trees at any one of Edinburgh’s four Community Recycling Centres: Braehead – Craigs Road Craigmillar – Old Dalkeith Road Seafield – Fillyside Road Sighthill – Bankhead Avenue • Residents with brown garden waste bins are advised to recycle their Christmas tree using their bin, as this service is now provided all year round.
