Parking prices in Grange to fall?

It is 3 years since the controlled parking zone known as S1 was introduced in the Grange area.

There is a report to the Transport committee next Tuesday which proposes to reduce the charge at forty two of the 9 hour bays in Lauder Road and Dick Place to £2.

The reason is to reduce the contrast between streets just beyond the outer edge of the zone (which are packed) and those within the zone (which now have relatively few cars).

You can read the report and see the map of the streets affected here. Any views will be welcomed
