Settlement: £300,000 deficit per year

Roxy Art Centre, Roxburgh Place
Apparently the deficit racked up by Edinburgh University Settlement over the last few years was not £300k but £300k per year according to this piece in today's Scotsman.

The article also notes that the charity
  • is under investigation by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)
  • hired David Duff, former chairman of Hibs who was sentenced to 2 years in prison in the 1990s
  • now has all its centre closed - The Roxy, in Roxburgh Place, The Forest in Forest Road and the GRV in Guthrie Street.
See the article for more details.  The charity is not formally linked to Edinburgh University.

Correction:  Tychy advises in the comments that the Forest remains open.
