Boroughmuir: the announcement

Co-ordinating press releases, Edinburgh's Education Department and the Scottish Government have announced this morning that Boroughmuir School is now to be 'supported for its redevelopment through the Government's Schools for the Future programme'.

Undoubtedly progress, but this announcement is very short on detail and it will be some time before we know how meaningful it is.   There is no timescale and clearly discussions on the nature of the redevelopment will now be able to restart.
