Refuse collections plus skips introduced

This morning was a red letter day with communal street bins beginning to be emptied for the first time in two weeks.   The one pictured was (half) emptied manually by the bin men in Sciennes.

In addition 70 skips are being sited around the city to enable people to place their rubbish in them directly.   Alas, the map showing their locations - see here - does not show any in our area yet.
