Update on Marchmont lights switch on

Yesterday I reminded readers of the carol singing and lights switch on outside Scotmid in Warrender Park Road today.   Council resources for switch on ceremonies have been diverted to deal with the snow.

There was an option of the gathering in the German speaking Church in Chalmers Crescent going ahead but as you will see from the Marchmont and Sciennes Community Council blog, that will not now go ahead.
