Clearburn Crescent bogus workmen report

Police are searching for a suspected bogus workman who tried to get entry into a house in Prestonfield on Tuesday (29th March).

A male claimed to a householder that he had come to fix a leak but was turned away by the householder.  He is described as white, in his 40s, medium build, rugged complexion and with short dark hair.  He was wearing a baggy green jumper and had an Eastern European accent.  On being refused access he met up with a male  described as white, with short light ginger hair and a dark three quarter length dark jacket.
