Killer told he cannot appeal

Frank Moore
Murderer Frank Moore has been denied leave to appeal his conviction and 22 year sentence for killing Stewart Taylor in Chalmers Crescent in February 2011.

This report also quotes some very measured comments from John Methven of Prestonfield.  He is the father of Lynsey Methven who was a victim of the same Chalmers Crescent incident - though she escaped with her life.  Lynsey's father:
"Lynsey is getting better all the time.  From being unconscious to where Lynsey is now has been a big improvement.  She still forgets things sometimes but that's to be expected.  She just wants to put it behind her as well."
