Update on free street wifi

In February I noted that the UK Government was offering Edinburgh a sum of between £7m and £11m for broadband available for public access by wifi.  The plans include making wifi available on the Meadows.  The relevant post is here.

After the Chancellor's announcement on budget day, Edinburgh is to get £8m with the remaining £3m depending on the submission of a full outline business case by July.
