Housebreaking update

It may be helpful to share some information from Inspector MacLean.  He assures me that up until the spate over the last week, almost all of the housebreakings in the area have resulted in arrests and charges.

I further understand there have been charges libelled in relation to some of the events this last week end.

I am assured that police have had considerable activity in the area in recent months and that is corroborated by reports I have heard from local residents who have witnessed the police (often covert) activity.

A plea:  Don't hesitate to report suspicious activity.  Use the 999 emergency line if you think a crime may be imminent or just have happened.  Here is my recent post of local police advice with what number to call according to the circumstances.
