Bid for £4m for shop fronts upgrade

There is a funding bid afoot for around £4m to help repair and upgrade shopfronts.

The money is for historic buildings and is being sought from Historic Scotland and it is for conservation initiatives in the Southside and Leith.

Sounds like a good use of Historic Scotland's resources (though I am acutely aware their resources have been provided by we the taxpayers).
