Queen's Hall set back

A bid from the Queen's Hall for a contribution to a significant overhaul of the Clerk Street premises has been turned down.

The Scottish arts agency Creative Scotland have turned down a bid which would have led to the restoration of the main auditorium and a new 125-seater venue at the back of the premises.
