Forensic sleuths converge

International crime fighting scientists meet in Edinburgh this week at the Royal College of Surgeons in Nicolson Street.

The organisation is the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts, and the expertise represented, has been used in solving high profile crimes such as the murder of Vicky Hamilton in 1991 by Peter Tobin.

Peter Lamb who worked on the Soham murders is president of the Association and will be present.
