Meadows crime

There have been several incidents in the Meadows where people have been assaulted in the past week.

  1. Last Monday (19th) at 10:30pm a 30 year old man was confronted by two men and assaulted.
  2. About 1:50 in the early hours of Friday morning (23rd) a woman in Jawbone Walk, on the way home from work,  was confronted by a male who presented a knife.  Although uninjured she was shaken and ran home.  More, including descriptions, from the police here.
  3. About 8:45pm on Sunday 25th a large police contingent swooped on Townswomen's Guild Walk after reports of another similar incident.  More details will doubtless follow from the police.
