Wild soft fruit: best year ever?

I don't recall as good a year for wild soft fruit.

The crop is enormous and easily picked.   These brambles are on the south face of Arthur's Seat overlooking Duddingston Loch - but you can find them in various parts of the ward as well - particularly parts of Blackford Hill.  There seems to be plenty for everyone who wants to stock up the freezer.
