Housing in Edinburgh and the Lothians

House building is a big issue locally, and throughout and around Edinburgh.

One layer of the policies which govern housebuilding comes from the South East Scotland Strategic Planning Authority known as SESPlan.

As part of the work to develop a new plan, SESPlan is currently requesting views on the current Main Issues Report - which, as it says on the tin, seeks to identify the main issues.

It all gets a bit technical but the post is to alert anyone who wishes to contribute to the discussions as to where they can find the documents and how to respond.

All these details can be found on the SESPlan site here.  The consultation is open for comment until 30th September.
