Road resurfacing - Old Dalkeith Road

Apologies for the limited posting recently.  It has just been busy.

Work is due to start on Monday 12th June on resurfacing significant sections of  Old Dalkeith Road. The work is due to last about 5 weeks.  As this is a designated route for the emergency services the work will be undertaken at night - beginning at 7pm.  (Noisy operations in the vicinity of houses should cease after about 11pm.)  There will be parking restrictions and partial road closures.

The resurfacing includes the stretch between Kingston Avenue and Cameron Toll.

Longstanding readers of this blog will note that the ward boundary has changed and now extends some way south of Cameron Toll and the area north of Double Hedges.  You can see the new ward boundaries by downloading the map here.
