St Crispins Special School relocation consultation

In a quiet corner of the Southside & Newington ward lies St Crispins Special School.  At the end of Watertoun Road, just off West Savile Terrace is the school which has been there since 1964 when it was built as a Junior Training Centre.  It became a school in 1974.

The building is at the end of its useful life and the relocation proposal is to take the school to the site of the former Burdiehouse Primary School on the south edge of the city.

There is a public consultation about the relocation.  You can find more information here.
